This entire story makes no sense. Not in any logic that I'm familiar with.

It was noon, everyone was happy and Vash was eating doughnuts and then he saw a girl that has black hair, sky blue eyes, and she was almost as tall as Vash but was 1 inch shorter than him.

Then he went up to her and said "Hi there, I'm Vash" and the girl looked at him and she said "and my name is Suki"

*Flashback*

Vash was looking at a capsule that had a girl inside, he said to himself {She's so beautiful, I wonder what's her name is, I hope I get to meet you on earth.}

*End of Flashback*

"Suki?......that's a lovely name" Vash said in a questionable way.

"Thank you, Vash the Stampede" said Suki in a gently way.

Vash had a blank and surprised look on his face and said "How do you know that?"

"Well when you're a plant angel you have to know every other plant angels" said Suki.

"You're a plant angel, just like me?" he was shocked at that what Suki said.

"Yes, but I'm not like your brother knives, I'm good like you, Vash" Vash blushed and he couldn't talk after that.

Suki laughed as she saw Vash blush, then out of nowhere there was a gunshot, Vash and Suki went to see.

It was Legato Bluesummer; Vash thought that he was dead before.

Suki said "Vash.Vash what's wrong?" she looked at him with concerned eyes.

Vash said "It's nothing Suki..nothing..But I want you to run and find a safe spot to hide and.." He was cut off by her kissing him and Vash was surprised of what she did and she had her gun out.

Vash knew that Legato was controlling Suki and Vash said "LEGATO STOP THIS RIGHT NOW!! LET HER GO!! IT'S ME YOU WANT!!"

Legato came out of hiding and said "Why should I? Its fun controlling the people you protect, even the person you love."

And Legato controlled Suki again.

Suki took out her gun and placed it next to Vash's head and she said "Who will you protect..Suki..or..yourself?" and Vash was getting confused and furious at Legato doing this to Suki.

He said to himself {Suki, I want to save you but, I have to save every human on earth and I just can't, just save you but, I love you Suki, I do.}

What Vash didn't know was that Suki was psychic and she read Vash's mind and she cried and she tried to break the control and she screamed in pain.

Legato tried to regain control of Suki.

Vash very confused he didn't know what to do but did the only thing possible, he kissed her passionately.

Suki was crying when she was kissed by Vash, she thought that no one in her life would be in love with her because in the past someone did love her but....

~Flashback~

"Suki come on, wait up..you little blossom!" said a tall 24 yr old boy with dark brown hair with red eyes (and no people's he's not evil, I made him up.)

"You have to catch me first..Daichi!!" said a 22 yr old girl with black hair and sky blue eyes (that's me ^_^.)

"That's it..I'm going to get you Suki..no matter how long it takes..because I love you Suki."

Suki was surprised and she stop, for Daichi to catch up to her and Daichi said "What's wrong Suki?" and Suki was crying and turned around and she ran towards Daichi and cried at his chest and said "I love you too Daichi."

Suki hugged him tightly not letting him go and Daichi did the same to her, and then he lifted her chin up and kissed her and she embraced the kiss by letting his tongue roam around her mouth making it more passionate.

Then a gun was shot and Daichi collapsed on Suki and she was so surprised she didn't even scream.

Suki screamed "DAICHI!! YOU CAN'T DIE!! I WON'T LET YOU..I LOVE YOU DAICHI!!"

Then her right arm was forming a gun but, not just any gun it was an angel gun, her eyes were turning red (yes she is turning evil) because she was in pain, anger, and sorrow.

She shot her angel gun right through the village and she yelled "I WILL NOT FORGIVE ANYONE FOR HURTING MY FRIENDS OR MY LOVED ONES!!"

And Suki destroyed everything that was in the path of her angel gun.

When she realized what she had done, her eyes came to reality and every villager came out.

Every villager yelled at her for what she did and they said "GET OUT!! WE DON'T WANT ANYONE HERE THAT IS LIKE YOU!! GET OUT OF THIS VILLAGE AND NEVER RETURN!!"

Suki got out of the village while crying.

It was night, the sun was down, Suki was still crying and then she heard footsteps coming towards her.

"I know who you are Suki..your so beautiful..join me and someday you'll find the right man to fall in love with."said a deep voice.

Suki said "Who are you?

"My name is Million Knives..I've come to see you Suki.." said Knives.

"Just leave me alone!! Said Suki in a sorrow way.

~End of Flashback~

After Vash kissed Suki, he broke the kiss and he said "Suki..?"

And she woke up and said "Vash.." and she hugged him "Thank you so much for rescuing me" and she hugged him tightly.

Vash said "Your welcome Suki..I was glad to help you."

Legato left, leaving Vash and Suki alone (if any of you have sick perverted minds, and you think that they did something, your wrong x_x.)

Vash and Suki went to a hotel to stay, Vash was taking a shower and Suki was in the bedroom waiting for Vash to come out.

Vash came out and saw Suki in the bed and she saw Vash's bruises and she asked "Are those bruises from the people that shot at you because they thought you killed some people they cared?"

Vash didn't say anything but he just nodded.

It was Legato Bluesummer; Vash thought that he was dead before

"My name is Million Knives..I've come to see you Suki.." said Knives.

It's a bad sign when the author leaves the "s"s off of the ends of canon character names. *cringes*

Speaking of names, it's a personal pet peeve of mine when Gunsmoke OCs have names like "Suki" or "Daichi"... the vast majority of people in Trigun have names like "Marianne," "Frank," or "Nicholas." Okay, there are oddities like "Legato" and "Knives," but at least those were attempts at Western-sounding names...

Thought for the day: What the hell was Rem thinking when she named those poor children. One assumes that she was meant to be a native English-speaker and ought to have known better.

Ahahahahaha! XD I always wondered that too. (And why did Knives get a second name when Vash was only left with one?) Maybe they named themselves?

For that matter, just HOW did they come to be, anyway? Did one of the Plants "give birth" to them? Were they some sort of genetic experiment? Just why were those spacemen in episode 17 pointing guns at them when they were hardly more than embryos? Maybe the manga explains more of it, I'll have to wait and see.

(And I just have to add, I adore every icon I've ever seen you use.)

Wow, you really opened up a can of worms with that post! I could probably talk for hours upon hours about the questions you've posed, but that would annoy people in the thread... And not being particularly well-versed in the story of the manga, mostly what I would be giving is speculations, no more authoritative than yours.

But, most people I've heard have come to the consensus that the plants did give "birth" to them. And if some random plant-kid-things turned up for no reason on your ship, wouldn't you show a little bit of precaution as well? Assuming that they were unexpected, which was true in the anime, at least...

*Blushes* I'm glad you like the icons - I don't really have that many, but I appreciate the comment.

I know how you feel. I could ramble for an immeasureably large amount of time on Trigun, and the characters and their motivations and impulses (see below), etc. etc.... but whenever I start, my friends don't tend to appreciate it too much. Not that I can blame them, I'm a geek through and through, but my rants usually fall on deaf ears.

It's the psychological aspect that attracts me, I think... I like analyzing the characters and their little idiosyncracies and their philosophies. If you'd told me four years ago I'd be psychoanalyzing a cartoon, I would have lost it, but, well, here I am. o_0 The thing is, Trigun begs to be analyzed, from what I can see. Some stories have plot holes and things that are left blank, whether on purpose in order to pique the audience's interest or because the creator was too lazy to fill them in, but I'd like to think Trigun is more of the former than the latter.

Sometimes I even wonder if that bastard Nightow has little Tolkienesque volumes of written material on Gunsmoke's entire history and hierarchy, little worldbuilding volumes that explain EVERYTHING.

Gah! I know exactly how you feel! I want everything to make sense, and it frustrates me that Nightow isn't giving me the information I want. Although Maximum does give more details, it isn't enough for me!

Do you mind if I add you to my friends list? I think we're on the same wavelength here...

Is a plant angel that Vash knew before he was on Gunsmoke...

Whoa, whoa, whoa - hold up there. There is no way that could possibly be canonically correct. I can't even critique this like I want to, other than to note (with great sorrow) the lack of proper grammar and rather patchy knowledge of the Trigun-universe.

Meh. I feel apathetic right now.

I guess that's what the flashback was all about. He has some thought about hoping to meet her on earth. Or whatever. I could be wholly mistaken of the context. You saw the fic. ::brain explodes::

Just basing off the flashback bit in the story, I'm still a bit iffy on that. I mean, really. (Hard enough trying to make sense of the fic, anyway...) Besides, falling in Twu Wuv (as I think the author is trying to put it; it's really hard to forge through that) because of extensive physical beauty isn't advisable, is often bad writing, and out of character for Vash. Yes, he likes women and he adores the sexy/beautiful ones. And I did have an argument for this but I think I'm starting to forget what it was.

Either way, I neither like the Sue nor the characterization of Vash, my own pairing preferences aside. Igh.

(Warning: Long rambling post on characterization ahead. x_X; )

Well, my own idea would be that while Vash is susceptible to falling in love (you're right about the "because of extensive beauty" part; Vash enjoys looking at pretty girls and in some cases good-naturedly harassing them, but it's, well... I dunno, something different and I'm ending this parenthetical RIGHT NOW) , I don't actually think he'd ever enter a relationship. With anyone. I mean, think about it - he's going to have to go through watching them grow old and die, which is an ordeal he already has with platonic friendships... why make a friendship something MORE than a friendship when it's only going to hurt worse in the long run?

And as far as raising a family (which he does with many a Sue I've seen) goes, well, Vash is pretty much screwed there. My knowledge of Plant physiology is highly shady; I don't know how much information is in the manga to that effect, but while Vash is biologically male, so to speak, and he eats and sleeps (does Knives have to do this? It's an interesting idea) and bleeds, but if even a couple of things are drastically different from humans, biologically, which they're bound to be, it could throw the whole genetic basing off completely and he might not be able to father a child at all.

Even if he could father a child, though, would he risk it? You'd think there would be one of two outcomes: either the child would inherit his long lifespan, or it wouldn't. If it didn't, then he'd have to go through the aging and dying process again, with his own offspring, and I really think that emotionally, that would be too much for him to take. On the other hand, if his child did inherit the long lifespan, he would have to live with the knowledge that this son or daughter would be "cursed" the same way he was, to live their own long lives watching towns take root and dry up, watching good friends grow so old they can barely remember you anymore... and I think that would really weigh on his conscience. He's really had a pretty hard life; would he want to bring another being into life to live with the same hardships he did?

...I guess that's just why Sues (or any sort of fic where Vash enters an undying Twu Wuv relationship) just bother me. Oh well. That's my own rambling theory; it's possible that someone else's interpretation of Vash is completely different. Trigun is a show that leaves you open to concluding a lot of things, so it wouldn't surprise me.

Huzzah! You said everything my sleep-addled brain couldn't.

So, yes, excellent (and well-supported) theory. If only the fandom would listen, now...

*bangs head against desk* Always with the plants. Why, why can't they leave them alone!

The grammar, the story....it chokes me, it does. And inserted author notes! Agh, the agony. It's sad how easy these Sues are to find in Trigun. Truely sad.

I'll stop now.
